`Bubbi Brushes/ Makeup Brushes review plus how to use makeup brushes

(12 days till Christmas )

IM SOOO UNBELIEVABLY STOKED 😭 So while I was at my boyfriends house, a courier man shows up with a parcel and it turns out he got me the complete set of bubbi brushes 🙆 I've been wanting this brush set for so long ☺️ These new set of brushes came out a few years ago and they kept selling out from popularity. Bubzbeauty, a lovely inspiring makeup guru on YouTube designed this line of makeup brushes. I had been watching her videos for years and I trusted that her makeup brushes were of good quality ☺️☺️

This post will be a review on the brushes and also how to use them as it can be quite confusing to some people like me, although I do get confused easily.... ok.

The parcel it arrived in;

The bristles are so fluffy and soft and surprisingly dense, they come in a neat black faux leather roll with no cheap bad plasticy smell which is always good

The makeup brush roll;

The brush box, I squashed it after hugging it ;

Side;

Back of box;

The brush set comes with 12 brushes in which of two of the brushes are double sided. They all come with plastic slips and 5 of the bigger brushes comes with an extra top slip to protect the bristles

The new brushes with all the covers;

The handles are made of wood in black which I really like since i don't really like other types of handles. The barrels are made of mental in a pink finish and the body has each brushes names written on the side of them which is good for beginners

Seperate brush reviews:

Face brushes

Dome brush

It contains many layers of dense soft bristles and can be used as a multi purpose brush. This brush is perfect for when you're on the go since it can be used in so many different ways.

Uses
❄️for sculpting and contouring your face as it is slanted
❄️a finishing powder brush
❄️️highlighter

Powder brush-

Look how dense the brush is ☺️;

It's soooooooo fluffy it reminds me of a bunny rabbit, sometimes I like to rub it on my face randomly.
This brush is also quite dense, in fact all the brushes are super dense so they'd be great for picking up loose or pressed powders or mineral foundation

Uses;
❄️putting on blush
❄️dabbing on finishing powder

Dual cover brush-

Yet again it's a super soft on either ends, and what's really good about this brush is that it contains different lengths of bristles so it doesn't create streak marks on my face like my other foundation brush

The top end is for foundations/ bb cream/ cc cream
And the bottom end is for concealer

Uses;
❄️perfect for foundation
❄️great for concealer
❄️good for primer

Sculpting brush-

Fluffy;

This brush is great for contouring or sculpting. It's dense so it really picks up product well. What I love about this brush is that it doesn't leave my face looking cakey or too powdery, the bristles really buffs in powder onto your skin to create a natrual finish. It can also be used to create liquid and cream foundations

Uses;
❄️ Contouring cheek bones
❄️Contouring forehead
❄️Applying foundation

HD flawless brush-

Side view;
The ultra soft bristles of this brush makes your face look natrual and well blended without that cakey look. This brush is perfect for those who want to even out products on their face and to make a flawless finish. And because it's angled, it can blend in hard to reach areas of the face effortlessly

Uses;
❄️For buffing out products
❄️Creating a flawless look
❄️Contouring
❄️For a last step blending for foundation e.t.c

Buffer Brush-

This is a flat top brush, it is soooo dense and soft. It's really good for people who have oily skin/ or need a setting powder to prevent foundation sliding around on a hot day. This can also be used to buff out uneven foundation/ bb cream.

Uses;
❄️Blotting on finishing powder
❄️Buffing out foundation
❄️Setting powder
❄️Bronzer on face/ body
❄️Mineral foundation

Eyeshadow Brushes

Eye contour brush-

A dense soft slanted eyeshadow brush, if you were looking for creating a defined outline on the crease of your eye for eyeshadow then this brush really helps as it has a slant that can reach the hard to reach places of the eye crease. It can also be used to contour the sides of the nose.

Uses;
❄️Making an even eyeshadow shape/ outline
❄️Puting a defined eyeshadow on the crease of your eyelid
❄️Contouring your nose

Blending brush-

Close up;

This is a nifty little tapered brush for blending rough edges for eyeshadow for a smoky or natural look

Uses;
❄️Buffing out harsh lines of eyeshadow
❄️Creating a smokey eyeshadow look
❄️Creating a natural eyeshadow look

Shader brush-

A solid yet soft brush designed for precise shading and blending out powder and cream eyeshadows

Uses;
❄️blending out eyeshadow
❄️shading out eyeshadows

Dual eyes brush

A double sided eyeshadow brush designed to make eyeshadow application quick and effortless, another good brush to pack into your makeup bag for when you're on the go. The upper end is for eyeshadow application and blending whilst the bottom end is for concentrated eyeshadow application along the lash line/ eyelid

Uses;
❄️An on the go eyeshadow brush
❄️To apply eyeshadow
❄️To apply precise and concentrated eyeshadow along lash line and lid
❄️Buffing out harsh lines

Smudger brush-

The name speaks for itself ☺️ it is a soft solid little brush designed to smudge out uneven eyeshadow or harsh eyeshadow lines and softening pencil eyeliner

Uses;
❄️Smudges out eyeliner
❄️Smudges out harsh eyeliner

Detail brush-

This brush can be used to put on gel eyeliner since it's so solid and straight. But since I already have two gel eyeliner brushes that came with my other gel eyeliners, I use this brush for lipstick and lip tint application, it's good for lining lips and also to create a gradient effect. I've also used this brush to remove makeup errors on my face such as mascara smudges.

Uses;
❄️Gel eyeliner
❄️Liptint
❄️Lipstick
❄️Lipbalm
❄️Removing makeup errors

Overall review ❤️
I'm in love with these brushes.

If you're a beginner or already have a few other extra brushes, I recommend you to just buy the Essentials 6 set brushes or buy the rest separately as they can be pricey.

I love how it comes with a compact brush roll that doesn't actually take up that much space for 12 (14) brushes if you're travelling.
I also love the design and the quality of the brushes, they seem like they will last me a fairly long time. And lastly. They're so soooooooooo soooooooooooooo soft and dense. This set contains everything you need.

And that concludes my long bubbi brushes review and uses c: don't be scared to comment on any improvements or ask questions x
